Registration notes: Designed by David Clyde and Gordon Kirkbright in recognition of David Clyde's Ulster-Scots heritage and his long association with various pipe bands. The colours are of significance to him: the red, black and gold are colours affiliated with his birthplace, Banbridge, Co. Down, Northern Ireland; the blue represents two rivers - the Bann in Co. Down, and the Clyde in Lanark County, Ontario, where he has lived since 1961.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
