Registration notes: This tartan was designed by Leigh B Stoddard, the Mayor of Clark's Harbour, to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Incorporation, 1919 - 2019 and to become the town's official tartan. The community is the southernmost town in the province of Nova Scotia, and thus one of the southernmost towns in Canada, being located roughly on a parallel with Bilbao, Spain and just north of Rome. The town is located on Cape Sable Island, and the main industry is lobster fishing.
