Colours: blue and white represent the flag of Scotland; red and white represent the flag of Japan and yellow represents whisky, as an example of the shared interests and histories of the two countries.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
