Registration notes: The Residents of Kincarrathie House chose the colours of the tartan as a representation of Kincarrathie: grey was chosen to represent the history and stonework of the house; green for the trees and shrubs, dark purple for the flowers found in the gardens. It was important to the Residents that the vast grounds and gardens were represented.
