Registration notes: Taka town is in the Taka district in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The design was inspired by the town: green and light green represent nature; light blue is for Sugiharagawa River; red represents the harvest in autumn; yellow is for the fields of rice plants (Yamada-nishiki) and white represents snow, Japanese traditional hand made paper Sugiharagami and grains of rice (Yamada-nishiki) for Sake.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
