Registration notes: The tartan represents the SRPMIC ( Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community) Fire Department Pipes and Drums Band, the first for the community. The colours: red and black, represent the fallen men and women within the fire service; blue, yellow and white represent the SRPMIC flag; blue also represents the Salt River and yellow also represents the willow baskets which are highly important to the community and their cultural traditions.
