Registration notes: A personal tartan for James Cavendish. As the owner of Buittle Castle, in Galloway, Scotland, the design has been inspired by the history of the building. The sett if loosely based on the Maxwell tartan as Maxwells owned Buittle Castle until 1960. The threadcount represents significant milestones in the castle’s history including the 850th anniversary in 2020.
