Registration notes: The family tree of the Zurfluh family can be traced back to the late Middle Ages. They come mainly from the canton of Uri, one of the three founding cantons of Switzerland. As the 12th generation of this family, Pirmin Zurfluh developed a strong commitment to Scottish culture and brought the tradition of the Highland Games 2008 to central Switzerland. The Zurfluh tartan contains the family colours of black, white, yellow, blue and red.
