Registration notes: This tartan was created to celebrate the marriage of Rich Preston and Farida Farooqi. It is based on the Isle of Skye tartan, Skye being one of their favourite places in Scotland. The colours create an autumnal feel in keeping with their October wedding. The colours also reference elements of the Russell tartan, Rich’s maternal family tartan. Blue was included to represent their dog Talisker and dark red represents Farida’s Thai heritage.
