Registration notes: A tartan for the Clan Irwin Association with the authority of Alexander Irvine of Drum, 27th Chief of Irvine of Drum. The tartan design uses the colours of both the American and Scottish National flags and the plant badge usually associated with the Association: red represents holly berry and the American flag; blue represents the Saltire; white represents both National flags; green represents holly leaf and purple represents the thistle.
