Registration notes: A tartan for St Edmund's Retreat on Enders Island in Mystic, Connecticut, USA. It was inspired by the establishment of their Pipe and Drum Corps as part of their Institute of Sacred Art. The colours are intended to represent elements of St Edmund’s and the Catholic faith: the blues represents the Coat of Arms of St Edmund, the sea surrounding Enders Island and the ‘Blue of Our Lady’; red represents the Sacred Heart of Jesus and The Immaculate Heart of Mary as well as the Cross of the Society of St Edmund; yellow in intended to represent the Glory of God.
