Registration notes:	To celebrate the 2021 Scottish tour of two icons with strong connections to Scotland, Miriam Margolyes and Alan Cumming, and their visit to the Highland tartan mill, Prickly Thistle, a tartan has been created in their name Aliam Their names being woven together, is intended to represent the warp and the weft of a tartan being woven together. The colours and threadcount of this design recognises both birth years, with 65 in a pink for Alan's birth year of 1965, and violet for Miriam's 1941. Yellow is a favourite colour of Alan's and tumeric is symbolic of Miriam's connection with the land and soil of the Austrailian Outback. The blue and green over check combination represents 45 for a number of reasons including Alan and Miriam's passion for Scotland.
