Registration notes: In the early 1900s Kelvinside Academy Former Pupils held a meeting to decide the club colours and they all agreed on green, purple and black which were used to create a striking tie. In 1998 Kelvinside Academy created its own tartan (STA ref #7936) in the school colours of blue and silver and the Kelvinside Academical Club have now created a Former Pupil Tartan to compliment this. This tartan will also celebrate 150 years of the School in 2028.
