Registration notes: This tartan was created to commemorate the renewal of David and Marguerite's wedding vows in 2023. The couple are proud of their Scottish and Welsh heritage and these nations are intended to be referenced in the blue and red over-checks in the sett. When combined with the green in the sett, these are also the Welsh colours for Champions in the world of horse-showing; an activity that David and Marguerite have passionately been involved in for many decades, with much success and many significant achievements. The base brown shades of the sett reference their beloved show-winning Palomino horses, with their distinctive flaxen manes.
