Registration notes: This tartan was created for the birthday of David Snoddon. The colours of the tartan are intended to represent David’s life in Scotland: dark blue is from his school uniform from Allan Glen's school in Glasgow; purple is for his daughters’ school uniforms - St Gerards in Bellshill - where his three daughters attended; white is intended to represent his wife; yellow is for the colour of his father’s fire brigade helmet where he worked in Govan Fire Station; orange is for his mother with her 'carrot orange hair' and green is intended to symbolise his father’s emigration from Belfast in the 1930s.
