| Registration notes: |
This tartan was designed for the Sorensen Family to honour their heritage, ancestral journey, and continuing family legacy. The design is intended to reflect the family’s roots in Denmark, later settlement in Nebraska, and the family’s movement westward to California. The colours are intended to symbolise the values of the family: navy for loyalty, wisdom, and service; black for strength, sacrifice, and resilience; dark yellow, representing gold, for honour, legacy, and generosity; white for truth, faith, and integrity; and red for courage, protection, bloodline, and duty. |
