This tartan may not be woven by anyone without a notarised letter from the Chairman of The Clan Claus Society.
Registration notes: The Clan Claus Society was formed on the 1st June 2008 and this tartan introduced for Santa and his extended 'family'. Colours: red is the traditional colour for Santa Claus; green is for the evergreen holly and mistletoe which represent Christmas traditions; the three bands of yellow represent the three bags of gold that St Nicholas of Myra gave the three daughters of the merchant; the two bands of white are for purity and the snow of the North Pole.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
